A great day in the mountains (almost) always begins with a delicious breakfast.

At the Royal Ours Blanc, our morning buffet is both generous and gourmet: fresh pastries, cold meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits, freshly squeezed juices, coffee, pancakes… to be enjoyed in the dining room or on the terrace, facing the panoramic view of the Alpe d'Huez mountains.

Our breakfast is also open to non-residents (€25 per person).

In Alpe d'Huez, summer is all about the great outdoors. Located in the heart of the resort, the Royal Ours Blanc places you right by the trails, legendary mountain passes, and high-altitude tracks.

Hiking, trail running, road cycling, mountain biking, enduro… Alpe d'Huez is an exceptional playground for all levels, from accessible walks to the most athletic challenges.

THE SAUNA  

After the effort, the reward. The Spa de l’Ours invites you to slow down in an intimate setting, designed to recover, relax, and fully enjoy the "après-mountain" experience.

To complete the experience, our therapists offer a selection of massages and body treatments.

La Grotte de l’Ours in Alpe d'Huez invites you to slow down in a private, soothing sanctuary. A must-experience this summer!

An indoor pool, a stone-carved bath, a sauna, and lounge chairs come together to create a space like no other. A confidential, almost secret place, where you can soak in the calm, the warmth, and the water. Find more information about La Grotte de l'Ours here.

MOUNTAIN YOGA 

This summer, outdoor yoga classes are coming to the terrace of the Royal Ours Blanc hotel in Alpe d'Huez. All levels are welcome.

The sessions are open to both hotel residents and external guests.

Special packages combining yoga, breakfast, and spa access will soon be available to fully extend your wellness experience.

SUMMER IN ALPE D'HUEZ

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Summer Season: From May 28th to September 25th, 2026.

Breakfast: Served every morning in the dining room or on the terrace. Open to both residents and external guests. Daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Spa: A true bubble of relaxation. Spa treatments are by appointment only. To book: +33 (0)4 76 80 35 50. Daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

La Grotte de l'Ours: Our pool is open continuously from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.

Bar de l’Ours: The place to be at the end of the day. Daily from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Dining: The restaurant is closed during the summer season. Numerous dining options are available within walking distance of the hotel. We are located right in the heart of the resort.

How to get here

• By car: Take the A48 motorway towards Grenoble, then the D1091 via Le Bourg-d’Oisans (approx. 1 hour from Grenoble and 2.5 hours from Lyon).

• By train: Arrive at Grenoble train station, followed by a shuttle or taxi transfer to the resort.
